Ad Hoc: Inconvenient films logo

We created a logo, representing uncomfortable human rights subject for film festival Ad Hoc: Inconvenient films. We incorporated human body parts when creating the logo and identity: fingers, heels, heads, lips and eyes. People react to these images more sensitively; they receive more attention, as these objects are ambiguous and inconvenient. It's strange that some parts of the body, integrated in the human body in it's totality, seem attractive to us, but when they are separated, their images become foreign and sometimes repulsive. Body parts represent the main axis of the festival – the human. We submitted a logo for outdoor advertising board and the sketch version of the logo.
